Terms of Service

Welcome to Pepperwood Home Repair (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our services or website, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Offered

We provide home repair services including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman work within Los Osos and Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings can be made via phone or email.

Payment is due upon completion of services and can be made by cash, check, Venmo, or online card payment.


The minimum job length is 2 hours. Jobs are billed either hourly or by a provided quote, depending on the nature of the work.


Payment must be received within 15 days of invoicing. Payments received after this period may incur a late fee of 5% of the total amount due, plus interest at 1.5% per month until paid in full.

3. Service Guarantee

We ask that customers inspect the work before we leave the site. We do not offer warranties or guarantees on our services.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Customers may reschedule appointments with reasonable notice. If you cancel after materials have been purchased or close to the scheduled service date, a cancellation fee will apply to cover costs incurred.


Cancellation Fee: A flat 20% of the estimated job cost or a minimum of $50, whichever is greater. This fee covers materials and preparation time. No refunds will be issued for materials already purchased.

5. Liability

We are not responsible for any damages or issues arising from materials provided by the customer. Additionally, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred on the customer’s property except as caused by our negligence.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must be available at the scheduled time and provide access to the premises. If we cannot access the property and must wait beyond 15 minutes, or if we have attempted to contact the customer with no response, the job may be billed as a no-show. Valid reasons for no-shows may allow rescheduling without penalty, at our discretion. Customers should notify us of any issues by call or text as soon as possible. Otherwise, the customer will be billed for the time and resources reserved.

7. Right to Refuse Service and Force Majeure

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend work if conditions at the job site are unsafe or beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, hazards, or other circumstances that may pose a risk to our staff or prevent us from completing the work safely and effectively.

In such cases, we will notify the customer as soon as possible and discuss rescheduling or cancellation options. We are not liable for delays, damages, or losses resulting from these uncontrollable events.

8. Privacy

We collect only the essential information needed to provide our services, such as your name, phone number, and service address. This information is used to contact you about scheduled work, locate your property, and follow up after a job is completed. We do not collect your email unless you provide it voluntarily, and we never sell or share your information with third parties. By using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. 9. Age and Eligibility

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years or older and for residential properties where you have permission to authorize work.

10. Intellectual Property and Media

We reserve the right to take photographs and videos of our completed work for marketing purposes, including our website and social media channels. By using our services, you consent to this use.

11. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve any disputes amicably and in good faith. If issues arise, please contact us directly so we can discuss and reach a mutually acceptable solution before pursuing further actions.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
